About Us

Doctors Emergency Service, PA [DESPA] was formed in 1992, but several of our providers have practiced in the AAMC Emergency Department for over 25 years. All of the providers live in or around the community we serve, and many are actively involved in local athletic, civic and other volunteer organizations.

Our physicians are all board certified in emergency medicine or pediatrics, and many of our nurse practitioners and physician assistants have extensive experience practicing in an emergency department setting.

DESPA practices exclusively at Anne Arundel Medical Center and we are proud of our longstanding relationship with the Anne Arundel Health System.
